Formerly on V2 records (White Stripes, Grandaddy, Margot & The Nuclear So & So’s) before the label went under, The Rosewood Thieves have self-released an EP & LP and spent last year touring across the country. This summer they played the main stage at Red Rocks at the Monolith Festival with Band Of Horses, TV On The Radio, Toyko Police Club etc… Their songs have also been featured on Entourage, Grey’s Anatomy, and an LG commercial. They have recently been Artist Of The Day on both Paste. com & Spin. com and are featured in the latest Magnet Magazine.

I remember what RMike said at the Alejandro Escovedo show I encouraged him to attend with me: “You tricked me by making me see him live first.” Being introduced to the music of an artist initially through the live experience can have a profound affect. I’m hoping there are others who will have this type of experience on the 15th.
