Facts:
Destroy Nate Allen is a earnest singer/songwriter of the d.i.y.
indie/folk/punk persuasion. He has self-released 3 full length records and numerous EP’s. Nate has spent much of the last two years touring the US logging almost 300 shows.
With songs ranging from stripped down, lyrically driven folk, to high energy punk rock theatrics, Destroy Nate Allen is synonymous with freewheeling rock n’ roll fun. His shows have a working class knack for bringing people together and leading complete strangers into spirited sing-a-longs. Nate is an extremely entertaining solo artist and the fun doubles when his pink haired wife Tessa joins him in song and show!!
If you enjoy anything from Johnny Cash, David Bazan, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, Against Me! or The Violent Femmes, you’d probably enjoy DNA.
Solo:
“Allen sings and plays like a man near death, wanting to make every second count.” – theblackandwhitemag. com
“Imagine a man inside a plastic bag, pushing out and out, ever
expanding the limits while never truly leaving the restrictions. His set was short, but inspired; and the music he created was warm, like building a shelter for the lost.” – ….allalom. com
Duo:

“Destroy Nate Allen, a punk-rock husband and wife who made everyone form a circle around them as they danced in the middle, playing a guitar and a tambourine and singing punk-rock songs about loving each other, being uncool, and social justice. It was a very intimate and interactive show.” – Real Life
“The opening act Destroy Nate Allen played just an acoustic guitar and walked and danced around the whole bar singing with his wife joining in on certain parts. Almost like a musical. Very interesting. They dressed like they were part of a musical as well. Overall it was definitely something you don’t see everyday.” – Ledaswan
About Rodent Emporium (ON TOUR NOW!)
First and Foremost, this band creates music! And good music at that; it’s catchy, it’s quirky, it’s punk, it’s rockin and it’s pop. Their early lyrics express an intelligently ‘stupid on purpose’ overtone while their later lyrics take on a more poignant undertone that still manages to be laugh-out-loud funny. The overall concept of the band is a delightfully healthy rebellious parody of the pretentious nature of so many music related figure heads and artists, without being conceited or self-assured about it.
They have been winning over audiences wherever they play, selling their albums wherever they play, and winning over enough people to have Void Avoidance Records (Glasgow, Scotland) release their debut album “Music without Fear of Reprimand” in 2008 and to have Raging Storm Records (Nashville, Tennessee) release their second album “Sports”, stateside in the summer of 2009.
They are a four piece from the central belt of Scotland that began in 2006.
