About Keelhaul:

Dropping bombs (not names) on the long hard road outta Cleveland, Keelhaul put gnarled, frothing metal and blinding math rock into sweaty twin headlocks and smash their misshapen skulls together ’til they bow to The Haul’s every nefarious whim. After the quarry’s full and complete subjugation, Keelhaul proceed to render, humiliate, and twist their hapless victims into the band’s own insidious design. Violence never sounded so sweet (read: unhinged), and the underground has yet to recover. Subject To Change Without Notice may well be The Haul’s finest hour to date, the culmination of years of toil and sacrifice, not to mention a challenge to the members’ already tenuous grasp on reality. KEELHAUL have toured unrelentingly throughout the USA and Europe, pairing up with the likes of ISIS, EYEHATEGOD, UNSANE, KNUT, BOTCH, MASTODON and many others …and have been or are involved in other projects such as: CRAW , INTEGRITY , LA GRITONA, HOLY GHOST, MEATJACK, RINGWORM, just to name a few ….

About YAKUZA

With high praise from the metal press, local and national newspapers, and highbrow publications alike, Chicago’s YAKUZA has succeeded in garnering attention of all kinds, all the while not compromising the band’s free-flowing and spontaneous musical integrity. Regardless, YAKUZA remains independent, maintaining an almost indescribable sound that picks and plucks from a wealth of influences and inspirations.

Beast In The Field appears courtesy of a dark corner in a malignant solar system, slowly bleeding black into earth’s skies. It does not produce riffs. It orchestrates lurching stacks of glaciers and rocketing walls of canyons- disintegrating every molecule of mass and throttling the hell out of, and back into, infinite black space. It knows nothing of guitar and drums. It smokes forests of redwood into instant dust with the roar of tectonic plates colliding into a spontaneous pact of continental suicide. You gaze all around in suspended shock at your world, ripping apart at the mountains and streams. yet you know it doesn’t come within years of the silence in your head and the sinking in your chest. Beast In The Field is not a band. It is a man-made natural disaster.
