Personally I appreciate seeing national acts come through our city again, and yes the ticket prices are higher to see them. But if you're a Cave Singers fan and you get to see them in your town for $10 instead of driving to Chicago where you'll pay $12 I don't see the problem. As for start times, you are correct, we do need to start week day shows earlier and we're trying, it really comes down to when people show up. The bands want to play for people and unfortunately most people don't show up until 11PM, but we'll focus on doing better on start times in the future. As for tonight Lee Miles should be on stage by 10:30 and Cave Singers around Midnight. Also, anon, if you looking for affordable entertainment earlier, try Randal P Jones open mic night this Wednesday at 4PM with a .50 cent cover. Sorry you feel that way anon.
